We are looking for organisations to support the Pacific Giants' vision and who want to be part of the world record-making team behind: 

  • the first Canadian to successfully row the Pacific, and

  • the first Australian to solo the mid-Pacific route.

We need financial support to assist with the purchase of the boat and safety equipment, but also many other goods and services such as:

  • flights

  • training equipment

  • marine equipment 

  • marine inspections & maintenance

  • host yacht club/marina

  • clothing

  • dehydrated food

  • accommodation in Monterey & Hawaii

  • personal training  

  • physiotherapy

  • medical consultations

There are great benefits to sponsorship and a package to suit any budget.

Sponsorship Benefits

Our Corporate sponsors can benefit through four main mechanisms:

 1) Increased PR, brand exposure and outreach through global media coverage, events, and a sponsor network 

With our global networks and media connections, our sponsors are provided with a unique opportunity to raise the profile and exposure of their brands on an international scale pre, during, and post trip, through: 

  • mentions in media campaigns, such as interviews and articles with local and national press, magazines, TV, and radio;

  • mentions in social media feeds, both from Pacific Giants and from our partners, advisers, and our charities.

  • branding on our boat and clothing (worn at events and press opportunities and during the race).

The Pacific Giants also aims to catalyse cross-branding and further outreach opportunities by leveraging within our sponsors network.

 

2) Improved brand perception through affiliation with a world record and a charitable cause

The Pacific Giants campaign is attempting to set a world ocean rowing record for the first Canadian and first Australian to solo row the Pacific. It also supports two established and well-regarded charities in Australia, Canada, and the United States. By affiliating with both the crew and our chosen charity, our sponsors can improve brand and company perception with clients and customers.  

3) Endorsement of your product to further engage and relate to a target audience and increase sales.

The Pacific Giants will endorse your product through video footage and photos of your product(s) on the row, which will be posted on our blog, website, and social media sites, to directly reach your target audience.

4) Access to high quality media content for use in PR and advertising campaigns

Our sponsors will be invited to all campaign events pre- and post-row including PR events, launch, and homecoming celebrations. The team will be available for company press releases about the partnership and row and will provide rights to the use of selected video and photos from the row.

Sponsorship Packages

We have set out the partnership packages below and would be delighted to discuss these with you further and tailor it to your needs, as appropriate.

 

Six tiers are available

  1. Key Sponsor: $50,000+

  2. Gold Sponsor: $20,000+

  3. Silver Sponsor: $10,000+

  4. Bronze Sponsor: $500 - $9,500 (tailored depending on level of support)

  5. The Stowaways:  $250

  6. Goods & Services Providers: in-kind donations

 

Key Sponsor 

  • the boat will be renamed after the key sponsor

  • the boat will be branded with the key sponsor's branding

  • the oars will be branded with the key sponsor's logo

  • all additional benefits of Gold sponsor

Gold Sponsor

  • your company logo will be placed on both sides of the boat or main cabin with the maximum exposure

  • your logo will be placed on the Home and Sponsors page of our website with a link to your website

  • your company will be mentioned as a Sponsor where possible in all media interviews

  • your logo will be on the front of all team clothing, to be worn in all media interviews

  • team endorsement of your product (e.g. footage and photos of your product on the row and posted on social media sites)

  • the team will promote your company through Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms

  • the team will be available for up to 4 events pre- and post-row (e.g., motivational speaking and team building)

  • attendance at Sponsors' PR shoot pre- and post-row

  • support in copywriting for company press releases about the partnership and row

  • rights to the use of selected video and photos, as well as press releases

  • the team is also open to your suggestions of how we can support each other

Silver Sponsor

  • your company logo on the hull of the boat (medium print)

  • your logo on team clothing, to be worn in all media interviews

  • your company mentioned as a Sponsor where possible in all media interviews

  • your logo will be placed on the Sponsors page of our website, with a link to your website

  • the team will promote your company through Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms

  • the team will be available for up to 2 events pre- and post-row (e.g., motivational speaking)

  • attendance at Sponsors' PR shoot pre- and post-row

  • support in copy writing for company press releases about the sponsorship and row

  • rights to the use of selected video and photos, as well as press releases

  • other options negotiable with discussion

Bronze Sponsor

*tailored depending on level of support

  • your company logo on the hull of the boat (small print)

  • your logo will be placed on the Sponsors page of our website, with a link to your website

  • the team will promote your company through Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms

  • support in copywriting for company press releases about the partnership and row

  • rights to the use of selected video and photos, as well as press releases

  • other options negotiable with discussion

The Stowaways

  • your name/company logo will be placed on the sponsors page of our website

  • your name/company logo on the deck/walls of the boat

Goods and Services Providers

  • your products will be on display throughout this campaign via the website and in photographs and videos before, during, and after the event

  • your logo will be placed on the sponsors page of our website, with a link to your website

  • further benefits to be negotiated dependent on level of support
